LOCAL FIRM HELP OUT SUPERSTOCK TEAM

A local engineering firm in Galway came to the rescue for one SuperStock race team yesterday and supplied some vital parts that could have seen the team struggle to compete in the second round of the P1 SuperStock Championship.

Ian Brusby from RoughCut Racing explained that the teams engine sat lose on the cradle – the bolts holding the outboard to the boat were damaged and wouldn’t tighten allowing the Mercury 300XS motor to move slightly, therefore unbalancing it as they raced through the water.

Thankfully, local Galway engineering firm, Rynn Engineering, came to the teams rescue and not only supplied the replacement parts, but also some upgraded them. Based near the P1 SuperStock pit area, they really saved the day for this one team and have also extended an invite to try and help all the competitors during their stay in Ireland, should they need it.
