Revision to F1H2O calendar

ABU DHABI, (UAE) – Tuesday, 12 April – Idea Marketing has announced a revision to the racing calendar for the 2011 F1H2o World Powerboat Championship.

The Grand Prix of Kazan, the first to be held in the Republic of Tatarstan, and originally scheduled to run on the 16-17 July, is brought forward and will now take place on weekend of the 9-10 July. “We have taken this step in order to avoid a clash with the Class 1 Norwegian Grand Prix in Arendal and to ensure that both events gain maximum exposure from television broadcast scheduling,” said Lavinia Cavallero, Idea Marketing’s vice president.

The St Petersburg Grand Prix which was due to take place on 2/3 July will now be rescheduled for 2012.
