Teams head to Geelong
The Offshore Superboat Championship teams start heading to Victoria for this weekends “Geelong Classic Offshore Superboat Race”.With 3 races left for the 2010 season (2 races at Geelong & 1race at Sandringham the following weekend) each of the four classes are still up for grabs for a championship.
Class 1, have Maritimo leading with Acme Racing very close behind, the class will see Qatar 96 return to the series with Steve Curtis on the Throttles and Ali Al-neama Driving due to Sheikh Hassan Bin Jabor Al-Thani not being able to make the trip to Australia.
Trojan Steel still have their fingers crossed to get the boat ready for Geelong after they rolled over at Redcliffe.
Supercat 1050hp, Global Racing lead Team 3 by a small margin followed by The Good Guys Who are trailing in points after they rolled their boat at Townsville.
Supercat 600hp, Suv Dodge Ram lead Saracen with Kwozzy way behind after 2 tough rounds that ended with a blown engine.
Supercat 400hp, Fgi lead Berwicks with both teams in a close fight for the championship.

Saturday 13th, Pole Position Shoot out 2pm-3pm
Sunday 14th, Race 1, 11am Start for 30 minute timed race.
Race 2, 1pm Start for 40 minute timed race.
This is a free event for the public to view.
