TEAMS VOTE FOR THEIR ‘PAL’ TO BE DRIVERS REP

Thursday, 14 April, ABU DHABI (UAE): Norwegian Pal Virik Nilsen has been elected by a clear majority to be the 2011 Class 1 drivers’ representative.He will also be involved in any safety issues that might arise during each Grand Prix, but mainly as liaison to act on behalf of, and speak for the drivers rights and wishes during the season. “I am very happy to be elected and will do my best to be available and always loyal to all drivers in every team.”

The role is to act as liaison between all the drivers and the Championship organisers.
