Newquay over the last 10 years has been the destination and ultimate challenge for all top Zapcat teams, so it is with great pleasure that we can announce the International Surf Centre at Fistral Beach, will exclusively host and co-sponsor the Zapcat National Surf Championships in Cornwall for the next three years.
With at least two weekend race events each year in early May and October, visitors to Fistral Beach will see some of the most extreme action, the Zapcat race series has to offer!“The two free to view events we held last year at Fistral were very well received by both residents and visitors to Newquay, including many of the Zapcat travelling supporters, proving to be a very popular attraction for all ages; certainly helping the owners of the International Surf Centre to make the very decisive move to support the series over the next three years and to turn it into a bigger and regular event for all to get involved with.”
